Living Wage and Minimum Wage


Yannet joined NELP from the Michigan League for Public Policy, where she worked as a policy analyst specializing in wage and poverty issues. She represented MLPP in the Raise Michigan minimum wage campaign, for which she wrote reports and communications pieces, and did television and radio spots in support of the campaign. Previously, she worked as a writer for the New School for Social Research, as a communications associate for the Retail, Wholesale and Department Story Union, as a bilingual social services coordinator for a New York-based non-profit, and as a congressional intern. In addition to her academic degrees, she has a Professional Certificate in Labor Studies from the City University of New York.
