Han joins NELP from the Orleans Public Defenders where he was a line defender and Gideon’s Promise Fellow.
Having grown up in Louisiana, his past work has focused on the ways work, borders, and criminal punishment shape one another, including fellowships at the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice and A New Way of Life Reentry Project. Prior to law school, Han worked as a defense investigator for the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights, the juvenile public defender in New Orleans.
Han is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and is not licensed in New York State. He is a member of the NELP Staff Association, National Organization of Legal Services Workers, UAW Local 2320.
